Yesterday was quite a doozy! 39.9 degrees the whole day! :O Unbearably hot! I just lay on my bed the whole day with the fan on full blast :L there was literally nothing else to do, anything else you did do, made you so uncomfortably hot that you needed a cold shower afterwards! :) The fireworks in Sydney were amazing (even though I saw it on TV ;D). Would've loved to have been there myself!! So everyone, how did your new years day go eh? Fun, Boring, Laid back, Fantabulous? :) I can't wait till school begins now, it's such an exciting thought, okay.. i have to admitt I AM SO NERVOUS! Hopefully it'll work out right? ;)

Time to start blogging again :)

Boy O boy! Man it's been like 3 months since I've written huh? Sorry :I everything has been so hectic with the 'big move'. MY GOSH! I haven't even told you what happened on the move, have I?! Where do i begin....

Well, it all started on the 14th of Dec ;) We had packed up the house, luxed all of the rooms till they were shining. We were at the door ready to take a long drive to the CHCH airport!

The drive was nice and scenic, we had lunch half way at a lovely park! It had this beautiful mini waterfall :) we found a shoe at the bottom of it, so that kind of ended the WOW feeling :D

Then after 4 hours and like 100 cherries :P we reached CHCH, where we decided to stay the night at one of our friends houses. As soo as we got there and freshened up, we went and saw Megamind! IN 3D :P it was my first 3D movie, so pretty impressed :)

Then... the day came :D me mom and sis were sitting at a cafe after checking in. It was absolutely CRAZY to think that, that very night i was going to be sleeping in Melbourne! How nuts is that?!

Finally, we boarded our flight :) my sis and i decided to go halfies on the window seat. It was a 4 hour flight, so 2 hours each ;) We ate so much chocolate and up & go on the flight, i swear i was about to burst XD

Finally, our flight landed! I was sooooooo excited!! We waited at the airport entrance for Dad to come and pick us all up. With our '12' bags of luggage ;D after what seemed like a week, dads car appeared and we stuffed all our luggage into the boot...i still can't imagine how we did stuff ALL of it in :P

After that whole ordeal, we drove to our new home :) On the way, I saw huge billboards, lots of people, cars and buildings, taaalll ones ;)

Our new house was just, WOW :) For a few days I felt so homesick and sad, but after a bit i got used to the fact that this was our new 'home'

And now here i am sitting on the comp chair, typing up what happened about 2 weeks ago :) I guess I'm not even close to getting used to Melb weather, but it'll do :) My family and I went to the beach yesterday :D It was soo much fun, but unbearably hot >:I  I can't wait for the holidays to end (oh yeah, i said it) cause i can't wait to go out and make new friends and meet new people :)

Exams are over!!! :D I'm finally able to take a breath! All exams are done :P So now the only thing i have to worry about are the results! SO! My departure/moving date is drawing nearer and nearer, I'm getting more nervous by the minute >:P Me and my friends are having a small farewell party next month, hopefully that'll leave us with some good memories to keep forever :) The past few days have been over 20 degrees! Scorching hot and dry! Last week i fell in love with 80's music again ;D can't stop listening to it! All the music of today is practically based on 80's songs, all of the tunes and melodies too! I'll probably start writing a bit more once I've moved, I'll also have alot more to talk about! This week has been very peculiar, we got Friday and Monday off, so we had a 4-day weekend and we also get this Wednesday off, so we just have a 3-day week!! How crazy is that?! I have to rehearse a script by next week :P I'm going on a music tour with the junior school (I got a part in the theater act) I'm a bit nervous about that too, so i better get rehearsing ;)

WEEELLL once again, i haven't written in a century! ;) I have had Exams all through last week and this week too, *crossing my fingers* for the results! :O We have a bit of ICT HW to post, which is: Discuss (on blogger) how to effectively use Facebook to communicate with your teachers. So, here it is :P

I think we could best use Facebook to communicate with our teachers by either creating a group for the subject and year group/class, and when a student has been away and can't be contacted, perhaps the teacher could send them an email reminding them of any homework given during the session they missed. Also if the students cannot do their homework or has any problem with it, can maybe email the tearcher or comment on the group page explaining why. Of course all of this 'group-making', communication and updating and following up can get a bit messy after a while. So I reckon the schools, teachers and students should stick to the methods we have today! ;)

Right then! I think I'm gonna go and revise a bit more for my SOS and Science exams coming up! GRR Exams are rather annoying, but I'm glad it'll be over by the end of this week :) but then again, after that I'll be stressed out about the results! By the way... guess what? I'm moving to Melbourne at the end of this year! AAAAAHHHH!!!!! SCARY! I'm also stressed out about leaving my friends :( the new school and house and people and studies and weather and homework and ARGH everything! But there is also a small bit of me which is rather excited about starting out in a new place :)

WOW I haven't written in like YEARS! Sorry about that! I have a lot to recap on, don't i? :) Well the school holidays finished last sunday >:I So this is the first week back @ school, everyone's getting adjusted to school-life ;) Well this is the last term, so i guess i should be happy :D GRRRR exams are gonna start in about four weeks and i am soo nervous. I'm revising for the exams since like the start of the week :P Anyone out there have any good revision techniques? I get veery stressed about these things :P. Moving on, i have a performance coming up this Saturday :o but for some reason, i'm not too bothered about that (apart from the itchy costumes!). One of our (my class and i ) favourite teachers is going away to have a wee baby :D so we're making her a farewell present :). I do hope that the exams go alright :/ I'm more stressed out by the minute :P But hey, I'll keep working and revising and as they say:

"Grooming" (internet context :D)

I know, where is a whole two weeks of entries? I haven't had the time to write at all this holidays! :) I have a dance or two coming up at the end of the Holidays, so i was busy practicing ALOT. Me and a few of my friends were gonna have a funday outside, but the weather went horrible at the last minute, so we stayed inside, watched movies, spun the bottle, talked, ate food and laughed :D Twas rather fun ;) Well my ICT homework this holidays is to write about what "grooming" means in internet context: So I used the URL : www.netsafe.co.nz to help me out :) SO here it is :)

GROOMING- When a person uses cyber-technology to create a victim of sexual abuse from another person. When a stranger sets up or 'prepare'  another person to be a victim of sexual abuse.


This can happen when your online or not. For example: Chatrooms, social-networking/personal sites, the park, the mall the possibilities are practially endless, so you can see how dangerous this can be.


Groomers are very subtle in the way they ask personal questions. These 'questions' can start out innocent and harmless, but gradually get more and more personal even if the person being groomed doesn't realize it.

These groomers are very smart and are getting smarter. As they lie about their age, gender, looks, and personal information very easily, it is hard to tell them apart from the others. Always be very cautious when giving out ANY personal info, make sure that you know whos looking at it!!




To identify if you are being groomed look out for these signs:
-What you wear to school, what your wearing now, what you look like.
-To use your webcam to show them certain things of you.
-If they already know things about you, you don't remember telling them at all.
-wants to keep you whole relationship a secret from everyone else.
-Wants to share explict things or wants you to go to pornographic sites, and show pics of themselves to you.

So bloggers! Whaddup? Today my whole year went to the pool for almost half a day, to have fun :) On the Hydroslides one of my friends decided to over take me and ended up sitting on me... grr and ouch :) Tomorrows Mufti and Wacky hair day. I know my schools gonna look crazy tomorrow :D I am SO tired, i can barely keep my eyes open! *sigh* I think i finished all my H/W but sadly my teachers have decided to bless me with more. My hair already looks wacky from swimming today so, guess i'm all set for tomorrow :) Once more i have nothing to write about ;D
